Pony music videos (PMVs for short) are a type of fan work where video footage is re-edited and set to an audio track. This typically involves footage from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, however, may include original footage or footage from other fan works, or be completely comprised of original animation. Some musicians create PMVs to accompany their original music.

PMVs should not be confused with fan-edited work where music is not the focus, such as abridged series.
