Brony (noun, plural bronies) is the term used to refer to an adult fan of the animated show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It is a portmanteau of the words "bro" and "pony".

Whilst often used to refer to the fandom as a whole, it is considered by some to refer exclusively to male fans of the series, with the female equivalent being a pegasister.
